Huntertown High School

Built for the 1922-1923 school year by the architect Guy Mahurin. Huntertown was the first consolidated school between Perry and Eel River Township eliminating the one room school houses that existed prior to the building of Huntertown High School. The high school served its purpose for 46 years and closed with the opening of Carroll High School in 1968. The Huntertown High School building was demolished in spring 1987 with its service as an Junior High finished. The location of the high school building is still used as an elementary school to this day. Go Wildcats!
